Just a few things to mention in what will probably be the last email of the year. If you didn't make it to the AGM last week then join us in congratulating our new committee for 2009: Krystle, Saori, Lola, Shimpei, Kai, Scott, Fiona, Mandy, Stu, Andrew O, Yohei, James and Daniel. Also we want to say our thanks to the outgoing committee members: Katja, Tim, Paul and Andrew B goodbye guys and good luck!!! Most of all we want to thank you guys, the members of this club for turning up to the meetings week after week and making this the best year ever at the Monash Japanese Club!!!

Next year's committee will be chosen at this meeting and all positions will be available to fill if you're interested. The positions include: President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Event Coordinator (x3), Newsletter Editor, I.T. Officer, Publicity Officer, and Inter-Organizational Liaison Officer. It is of course the Monash Japanese Clubs' infamous Cocktail Night! This year the event will be held at the impressive Terra Rossa in the city. There will be unlimited drinks (which includes beer, champagne and wine) and the theme of the night: 'districts of Tokyo' (Harajuku girls etc). There will be prizes for best dressed!!! Prices are $46 for Culture Card Holders and $48 for the rest. Tickets will be on sale from 10am to 4pm tomorrow for the final day!! Please make haste because tickets are limited and you only have tomorrow to buy them. What: Cocktail Night!
